Friendship Park has been exploited regularly over the years by anti-American radical “progressives” to promote an extreme, open-borders political agenda. It’s on the border between San Diego and Tijuana near the beach. It is just a waste of Border-Patrol assets as well as a detriment to the morale of the agents to have to watch over these events, which are often anti-Border-Patrol.
The good news, though, is that they are planning to build a 30-foot-high fence in that area around friendship park, which is much needed, because it is easy to climb over the current 16-foot fence. In addition, the fence on the beach is actually made out of railroad rails that can be easily bent apart with a jack and (thin) persons can just squeeze through it.
If you want to see probably the most atrocious event held by open-borders progressives at Friendship Park, watch this video of a Narco wedding that was organized by Enrique Morones of the Border Angels. It was the wedding of a just-convicted, cartel drug smuggler with Border Patrol agents in attendance, like an honor guard.
This Narco wedding took place in November, 2017. Since that time, the users of Friendship Park has been restricted in what they can do there. They used to have many political events and the radicals used it as a fund raising tool.
A new fence will decrease the interest of the radicals in the park. It will remove the anti-American mural on the Mexican side. Illegals won’t dance on a 30-foot high fence like they they did on the old fence. People will not be able to squeeze though the bars of a new fence.
This video shows hundreds of illegal border crossers in Yuma on the Colorado river. Biden has reduced the Border Patrol to being the helper of the cartel human traffickers and chaperone of the illegal crossers. I hear that the great majority of these border crosses are released. They do not even go to a shelter, there are too many of them, CBP just drives them to the Phoenix or Tucson airport and drops them off. The video was made in late May of 2022.
Biden has gutted the Title 42 policy is supposed to return all illegal crossers to Mexico, due to Covid. Now most of the illegal crossers are being quickly released into the US. You may recall that one of the first things Biden did when he took office was put a gag order on the Border Patrol, so they could not talk about his outrageous border policies.
The cartels recruit customers that are likely to be released. Mexico is refusing to accept the return of those from countries other than Mexico and a few neighboring countries. Department of Homeland Security does not have the resources to return large number of people from countries all around the world and the home countries may not accept the return of it’s own citizens. For this reason the composition of those crossing seems to have changed from mostly Mexican and Central Americans to mainly citizens of other countries who are likely to be released into the US. It is obviously not so much about persecution in the home country and being qualified for asylum as it is about opportunity to gain entrance into the US and reside illegally.
Rodney Scott, former national chief of the Border Patrol, explains the extreme crisis at the border, now being inflicted upon the US by the Biden administration. Last month 240 thousand illegal crossers were apprehended (May, 2022).
By my math, this would would amount to an annual rate of nearly 3 million if it continues. Not all of them are being released, but apparently, a very large majority are released and even helped with transportation to their destination. The trend in the numbers is up. It will only become worse, as the Biden administration ramps up their other plots of how to release more and more illegal border crossers into America.
Scott adds that about two-thirds of Border Patrol agents are not able to patrol the border any longer, because they are too busy processing the paperwork for illegal border crossers.
Title 42, which required all illegal crossers to be immediately returned to Mexico, has been gutted by Biden by making exceptions for many many groups by issuing edicts, not by law. Most of the illegals are being quickly released into the US, in spite of Title 42 supposedly still being in effect due to a court injunction.
Scott states that control of the border has been conceded to the drug and human trafficking cartels. The cartels push large groups of asylum fraudsters across the border, in order to distract the Border Patrol while they transport huge quantities of drugs, criminals and even potential terrorists across the border at the same time in some other location.
In my opinion, the reason the Border Patrol has not been completely overwhelmed, yet, is only because the cartels need a few agents on the border, in order to register the illegal crossers as (unqualified) refugees. Then, they transport them to the Border Patrol station, where they will be assisted onward in their journey into the American interior at taxpayer expense to live illegally and eventually produce many millions of new voters for progressive Democrats and millions of very low-wage workers for global financial interests.
To sum it up, this is a treasonous conspiracy by Biden, along with his criminal cohorts and string pullers, to subvert the sovereignty of the United States, in order to profit global businesses and change the voter demographics in favor of the far Left. It should be investigated by a future Congress for prosecution, just as they are investigating now the 1/6 episode at the time of this posting.
Biden has started the first phase of a program in Texas to have government bureaucrats grant asylum, without having it adjudicated by a court. Such a program based on government employees making the decisions without a judge or prosecutor would be very vulnerable to infiltration by open-borders radicals and also to bribery. This would open the floodgates at the border even much wider than they are already, making it nearly impossible to deport these bureaucrat-designated “asylees” in the future. This new, very great threat to our national sovereignty is being implemented by edict, a rule change, not by changing the law. Texas and other states have filed a lawsuit to have it stopped.
This is a subtitled video report by Univision about this change. Univision broadcasts to much of Latin America and the Caribbean. So, they are informing their viewership that it is becoming much easier to obtain asylum, which will likely greatly increase the already truly massive numbers of people coming to the border to cross illegally. This, while the American public is kept largely in the dark by the English-language, mainstream media.
We already have chaos at the border even with Title 42 still in place. The Border Patrol has been turned into an organization that assists the cartels in helping mostly fraudulent asylum claimants to cross the border illegally, instead of protecting the border as is their original mission. Title 42 is supposed to require all illegal border crossers to be returned to Mexico, but Biden has made so many loopholes and exceptions to the policy that a very large proportion of them are still being released into the US, even with the Title 42 policy still in place.
Note that, if a person only reads this mainstream article below, they probably would not gather from it a good impression of the gravity of the impact this change will have.
The way things have been done, up to now, is that those who skip their court hearings or are rejected for asylum get an automatic deportation order from the court. Which means they could, in principle, be immediately deported without court hearing at some point in the future, because they already have a deportation order from a court. Biden wants to make it so — once the millions of prospective new progressive voters are allowed in and approved by a likely politicized bureaucrat — we can never get rid of them.
Notice that the article states, if they fail the interview, they can still have court hearings before a judge before being deported. So, it will be like a one-way filter. It will make it much easier for them to get into the US, but still just as difficult to deport as before.
If the asylum claimant passes the interview by a government employee, the claimant is given documents and can stay in the US indefinitely. If the claimant fails to pass the interview, the he/she can start a case in a court and then be released with temporary papers and just disappear into the US to eventually live illegally, just as in recent years with “catch-and-release”.
In spite of Title 42 still being in place, which requires all illegal border crossers to be returned immediately, hordes of illegal aliens are still being released into the US. The Border Patrol is so overwhelmed that they cannot do drug and terrorist interdiction. They are spending all of their time processing mostly fraudulent asylum seekers. This is because Biden has created so many loopholes in the policy that probably more are released now than are turned back to Mexico.
Biden has ordered exceptions in Title 42 for pregnant woman and “unaccompanied minors”, though many of them may be in their 20’s. Also, Mexico will only accept the return of citizens of certain countries, Mexico, Central America and Cuba. Many from other countries are simply released into the US, even though Title 42 is still in effect, also due to Bidens policy. Of course, as bad as it is now, when Title 42 is lifted it will be even much worse than this. Our border will become completely unguarded.
The main crossing point in Yuma is at the edge of the Cocopah Indian reservation. The Cocopah tribe is likely being paid by the local cartel, first to not allow a fence to be built on their territory and them to allow these people to cross illegally on the reservation.
You hear them say quite openly that they are coming to the US to work and improve their life, but that does not qualify them for asylum. Very few of them will the granted asylum in a court. They are just coming to live illegally in the US. I call this Illegal Immigration 2.0. Designed, tested and implemented during the Obama term, it’s a lot easier for illegal aliens to get into the US via asylum fraud that it was originally for traditional illegal aliens, who had to run from the Border Patrol.
The reporter in Yuma talks about illegal crossers dying in the desert, but the place that they are walking across is only about 100-200 yards from Highway 2 in Mexico, where they are dropped off, no doubt. The Colorado River is dry at that point. No one is dying due to the desert heat when they cross at the the Colorado river and they don’t need to climb the fence because there a huge gaps. The ones dying in the desert are those who do not want to file a fake asylum claim and are trying to avoid being caught by the Border Patrol. So, they take a much longer and hazardous route in the desert to cross in the original way that illegal aliens did.
Univision interviews several people in Piedras Negras, who were hoping to be able to cross the border illegally in massive numbers after Biden lifts policy based on the Public Health Law (Title 42). The policy allowed asylum seekers, who cross the border illegally to be returned to Mexico immediately. A judge approved an injunction to keep the policy in place, as least temporarily.
Biden already made some huge exceptions to this Title 42 policy for pregnant women and so-called “unaccompanied minors”. The “minors” are generally accompanied by a cartel smuggler and dropped off at the border. Many are being returned to Mexico, but a large proportion of them are still allowed into the US and remain, even with the Title 32 policy still in place.
I have learned since writing this post that Mexico is only accepting the return of Mexican citizens and a couple of other neighboring countries. Most of those from other countries are still being released in the US, in spite of the Title 42 policy still being in place. These three are sad, probably because they are Mexicans and will be sent back.
Of course, most of these people are not qualified for asylum and will end up living illegally in the US, if they are able to cross and claim asylum. Being impoverished, needing work or being a victim of crime does not qualify a person for asylum. Generally, a person is qualified, if there are being persecuted politically or due to some immutable characteristic that they have.
Those living illegally in the interior of the US are more likely to the run over by a bus than be deported. This is because Congress refuses to provide enough resources to deport many of them.
Also, we have not had a president that really supported deporting illegal aliens, including Trump. Trump never supported the measures that would allow large numbers to the deported or that would encourage them to self-deport. Publicly, Trump actually ruled out an E-Verify mandate, which if implemented correctly would have helped greatly to eliminate jobs for illegal aliens.
Former Border Patrol Chief, Rodney Scott, explains how mass illegal border crossing is used as a distraction to aid smuggling of those on the terrorist watch list, as well as smuggling of drugs across the border, an huge threat to national security.
Scott was chief agent in San Diego and also national chief of the Border Patrol. A straight-shooter, he was fired when he put the LAW before Biden’s personal, politically-correct edict. Biden ordered the Border Patrol to stop using the term “illegal alien”. Chief Scott pointed out that “illegal alien” is the legal term contained in the law and for that reason had to be used in official documents. For that, he was fired.
Under Title 42, the federal law that deals with public health, asylum seekers crossing illegally were being expelled immediately across the border back to Mexico. This policy was started during the Trump term as a measure against the spread of Covid. Under Biden, the policy was continued for a while, even though some big holes were punched in it, allowing unaccompanied minors and pregnant woman to remain in the US. Recently, he decided to do away with the policy completely. Though a judge has put an injunction against removal of the policy for now, it may still be lifted in the near future. In any case the Border Patrol is already greatly hampered by the flow of asylum seekers that Biden is accepting, currently.
Chief Scott makes a couple of really important points.
First, that mass illegal border crossing is used by the smuggling cartels to distract attention, so that they can more easily slip drugs and those with potential terrorist connections across the border. While the agents are tied up processing asylum seekers, who generally are not even qualified for asylum, the smugglers take advantage of an unprotected border.
Second, the Border Patrol will be overwhelmed if the Title 24 policy is completely lifted and this is a huge national security threat. He points out that, even as things are now, the Border Patrol is on the verge of being overwhelmed. He refers to it taking much longer for agents to process asylum seekers. If the Title 42 policy is completely removed, the Border Patrol will be totally overwhelmed by the increased workload for the agents and the entire southwestern border will become essentially unpatrolled and almost completely open for the smuggling of drugs and potential terrorists.
There are thousands of people with potential ties to terrorism, who are caught every year trying to enter the US illegally, either flying in or crossing the border illegally. No one can know how many are not caught. The rule of thumb for illegal border crossers has been that three get away for every one that is caught. If Border Patrol becomes totally overwhelmed, they will be catching few, if any, of these potential terrorists. If they are not themselves terrorists, many will be sympathetic to terrorism and help create a environment where a community can thrive, which supports terrorism against the US.
Read this DHS report to learn more about the thousands of real or potential terrorists crossing the border every year, called Special Interest Aliens.
A news report about the trafficking of underage girls across the southern border with Mexico to be exploited as prostitutes in the US. This is just one small part of the criminal networks that are expanding in the US, fueled by illegal immigration and asylum fraud. I believe the estimates are that the cartels make $80 billion per year. I’m sure some of the profits from these criminal operations are used to pay off key politicians in the US, so that they can continue to do business and grow their networks into the US.
Below is Webster’s definition of “human trafficking”. The examples of of forced prostitution and forced labor are what they Government will prosecute. In a broader sense virtually all the millions of illegal border crossers and fake refugee asylum fraudsters are being smuggled illegally into the US to be exploited for financial and political reasons. However. When our Government supports it, they do not prosecute it or call it the crime of “human trafficking”, but that is actually what it is, the largest human trafficking racket in history. It may also be called “treason”. Complicit in this crime are many politicians, businessmen and much of the media.
Here is a little bit of good news, for a change. After nearly a year, the fake refugees have finally been evicted from their encampment at the “El Chaparral” border crossing in Tijuana. The filthy encampment was completely blocking pedestrian crossings on the west side of the border crossing. It had severely hurt businesses and street vendors on both sides of the border and put local residents in Mexico in fear of crime and violence. At its height, the encampment was home to well over a thousand, would-be asylum fraudsters, as well as accompanying criminals, drug users and local homeless persons. There was a significant threat that they would decide to rush the nearby vehicle border crossing.
When asked how long the camp was expected to be there, one local businessman said, they get everything they need free here, why would they want to move? Some prefer a camp like this rather than a formal shelter, because they can drink and use drugs in the camp and it’s better for the sex and drug dealing. One resident said that they are very powerful people, meaning probably that that they have very powerful backers, the organized crime groups that smuggled them them to Tijuana.
Progressive nonprofits, social justice churches and UN agencies are paying to keep these mostly illegitimate refugees on our border, waiting to cross. In spite of that, the size of this particular encampment has been on the decline in recent weeks.
Last time I visited several weeks ago, there were many children and few adults. It seems likely that some of the children had been abandoned there by those, who exploit and abuse small children as a free ticket into the US to live illegally.
The Carmen Serdan federal shelter, mentioned as the new destination of many, was built to house those sent back under the Return-to-Mexico program. However, it is not clear that a significant number of people are being returned under that program after a court ordered it to re-start a few months ago. Biden created large loopholes in his new implementation of the Return-to-Mexico program.
Translation of the original article below from the “El Imparcial” news website, which covers the the Tijuana/Mexicali area.
Migrants evicted from El Chaparral by Khennia Reyes
The migrants were transferred to an established shelter.
Tijuana BC.- Approximately 500 migrants were evicted from the “El Chaparral” encampment, which has been there for a year.
The operation initiated at 2 o’clock in the morning with participation of the National Institute of Migration, National Guard, Coepris (Health Department), Civil Protection, Tijuana Welfare Department, Directorate of Migrant Affairs, among other authorities.
The action surprised migrants, Central Americans and Mexicans displaced by violence, who were asked to take their essential belongings to an established shelter.
The family units were relocated to the Carmen Serdan federal shelter; to to the Ambassadores-de-Jesus (church shelter); and the LGBT community in the Jardín-de-las-Mariposas shelter.
During this morning and afternoon, there will be a clean-up at the El Chaparral port of entry.
Univision explains to the Spanish-speaking public how Biden has created a loophole in Trump’s “Remain in Mexico” program and how fraudulent asylum seekers can exploit this loophole to avoid being sent back across the border. They just have to claim to have a fear of being returned to Mexico and call an attorney while they are still in the US.
In evaluating these claims of fear in returning to Mexico, the US government will, no doubt, use the same weak standard that they use in the initial “credible fear” interview that allows them so easily to fraudulently gain access to the asylum program. That is, if the interviewer can’t verify what they say, the official has to take their word for it (scouts honor) and release them into the US.
