Black Lives Matter and Antifa come to Poway, Ca and greatly outnumbered by patriots and Trump supporters. Poway is called the “City in the Country” and is a town with traditional American values. The current Mayor, Steve Vaus, is a county western singer. It’s not a welcoming place for Black Lives Matter and antifa anarchists.
There were about 150 patriots versus 50-60 BLM and Antifa. Patriots started off occupying three street corners and BLM/Antifa had one. Some of the BLM were high school girls.
Antifa moves to take over one of the street corners from the patriots at 00:50. A group of patriots moves in to take the corner back.
There appears to be one black person present at this event among a couple hundred participants. She is on the patriot, Trump supporter side.
The antifa holding a shield (02:30) has a cane that was believed to have a sword in it. The handle was shaped like a small pick ax. The sheriff deputies say they cannot do anything about it until they see the concealed sword.
Antifa/BLM decide to go back to their corner at about 06:25. They briefly block traffic, but the deputies come and clear them from the street.
I asked one of the high school girls why there were no blacks at the Black Lives Matter event. She said they were afraid to come. The idea that a group of self-appointed whites have to speak for blacks is a racist idea, in itself.
At 11:30, some the antifa/BLM had crossed the street to the patriot side. Someone threw a smoke bomb. The deputies get in the middle and separate the two sides. Some in the BLM/Antifa crowd start to go home.
At 15:00 the antifa group leaves.
The women in the yellow shirts are the Wall of Moms, a group that was formed supposedly to protect antifa from being attacked.
DEC is “Defend East County”, a Facebook page started to coordinate responses to terroristic Black Lives Matter mobs.
Black Lives Matter terrorists in San Diego call for police stations to be burned to the ground, unless their demands are met. Of course BLM has already burned a couple of police stations down in other places, such as Portland and Minneapolis.
In this area, they have also burned to the ground two major banks and another major, historic building in La Mesa, a suburb of San Diego. They set fire to a City Hall annex in La Mesa. They intended to burn down the police station in La Mesa, during the riot there on May 30th. The police dispersed them with tear gas, bean bags and rubber bullets, before they are able to do it.
So, it’s not just an empty threat. Their terrorist threats have a great deal of credibility if they get a chance to carry them out.
When they torched La Mesa, the media and certain politicians claimed that it was not the BLM protesters who did the arson, but some mysterious group that no one knows and which appeared out of nowhere to “hijack” the peaceful BLM protest.
Their protests never have been really peaceful. They have generally all violated the law and trampled on the rights of other citizens. In case anyone still needs to be convinced, this video shows that the “protesters” are totally in agreement with wantonly burning down buildings, acts of terrorism.
At a Black Lives Matter protest at the San Diego County jail, protesters remove by force an accused drug trafficker from the custody of two undercover FBI agents. This occurred on 9/5/2020.
The stress of the confrontation with the mob caused the woman to have a seizure. The agents backed off when she started having a seizure, so a medic could help her. The protesters surrounded her and prevented the agents from taking custody again.
According to the FBI news release below, help was called and the FBI eventually regained custody.
The protest was a “Free Denzel Draughn” event. Draughn is in County jail, accused of 19 felonies for pepper spraying nine police officers in an attempt to prevent them from arresting a protester at another event more than a week earlier.
Obviously, the people who took the woman away from the FBI were committing felonies, themselves, and should be locked up in jail with their comrade, Denzel Draughn. Ironically, the felonies they committed are the same as Draughn committed, obstruction of a law enforcement agent.
It appears that at least 6-8 of them that were pulling the prisoner away, or putting hands on the agents should be charged. This would be a federal crime and therefore not subject to the local pressure in San Diego from liberal, progressive politicians and left-wing media.
Black Lives Matter protesters think they are above the law. The courts are beginning to re-open and they can be tried now for their felonies. BLM protesters should realize that there can be serious consequences for what they do.
Notice, also, that the great majority of these protesters are white and Hispanic with only a couple of token blacks participating. In San Diego, at least, this is primarily a white and brown, neo-communist, revolutionary movement much more than it is a black civil rights movement.
Denzel Draughn is an organizer for Black Lives Matter in San Diego, who pepper-sprayed nine policemen. He resides in Indiana and has an extensive criminal record in Ohio. He has been charged with a number of misdemeanors and two felonies in Ohio, according to a report by an internet service, White Pages.
UPDATE: On 12/9/2021, a jury in San Diego found Denzel “not guilty” of spraying the police officers even though there is video showing him doing it as seen above. The rational for the “innocent” verdict was that he was protecting fellow BLM radicals, who were brawling with the police.
Denzel Draughn may have an outstanding felony arrest warrant in Ohio or may be subject to federal prosecution for crossing state lines to participate in a riot. His $750K bail seems very reasonable. This criminal should not be able o obtain an easy release on bail.
In this event, the police stopped the driver of a SUV that was bringing up the rear of the march for running a red light. An abusive, profane, hostile and threatening mob gathered around the police as they questioned the driver. One policemen held up a can of pepper spray to ward off the mob. A person tried to slap the can out of his hand and the policeman sprayed him.
That started a melee and the police are arresting that man when this clip above starts. A can of pepper spray somehow becomes loose and rolls onto the sidewalk. Draughn picks up the can and sprays the group of policemen arresting the first man.
He was booked on 9 charges of obstruction of a police officer, 9 charges of using tear gas against a police officer and one of possessing a tear-gas projectile device. This event was on August 28, 2020.
His Black Lives Matter comrades are calling him a “hero”, but he seems to be acting just as a police-hating criminal and anarchistic, ideological fanatic. Criminals seem to be common among the hard-core instigators in our local black lives matter movement and probably elsewhere, as well.
Black Lives Matter is a criminal, terroristic, revolutionary movement. In San Diego they have burned two banks and another major building in La Mesa. They have looted numerous businesses and vandalized property all over the San Diego County. They have assaulted, harassed and abused police as well as ordinary, law-abiding citizens.
Because they have a peaceful event every once in a while, does not erase their numerous crimes committed at other events. Many of them deserve to be arrested and sent to prison. Hopefully, now that San Diego courts are beginning to open again, this will become more possible going forward.
Of course, the police had a legal right to arrest the first man and to use reasonable force to do it. Reportedly, ten people were ultimately arrested in this incident. Their own, threatening mob tactics turned what would have been at most a traffic ticket into many serious felony charges for multiple persons, not just Denzel Draughn.
If the police were using more force than normal, it was due to the presence of the angry mob trying to interfere with them. Denzel Draughn could be facing decades in prison due to his own fanaticism and that of his comrades. BLM’s mob rule concept is not equivalent to the legal authority of the police, sorry.

A cult-like, Black Lives Matter mob led by Tasha Williamson took over the San Diego Police Chief’s Neighborhood and attacked one of his patriotic neighbors on August 27, 2020. The encounter with the Chief’s neighbor starts at about 9:00 into the video. The actual punch comes at about 12:00.
Some are screaming hysterically about someone having a knife. However, the young man at the beginning, who has a pocket knife, is with Black Lives Matter. He is a participant in this mob action, not an outsider.
The neighbor, who was attacked, is not known to be part of any defense group as they claim he is a member of Defend East County (DEC). He appears to be just a concerned, patriotic neighbor.
Many on the far left label anyone, who is pro-America, a “racial supremacist”, because their neo-communist propaganda promotes the idea that the entire system is racist and should be overthrown.
The mob also vandalized the street with obscene Graffiti against the police. Loud music was played until late at night and the neighbors were generally terrorized. According to a report by KUSI News, the police are investigating this entire event and may file charges.
