Why I Owe No Loyalty To Trump

One Trumper accused me recently of being disloyal to Trump, but I never swore an oath of loyalty to Trump. However, I did swear an oath to protect and defend the Constitution when I worked for the DoD. Trump is just another corruptible man. I supported him when he did something that I thought was right. I do not support him when he does something wrong. Im my opinion, he was wrong from the beginning to politicize the post-election process.

If you have a grievance, you have to use the legal process, whether you think the results were fair, or not. Even murderers go free in our legal system, if there is not enough evidence to convict them. However, in the states in question, it was Republican legislatures who approved the election results. It was Trump-dominated Supreme Court that threw out his lawsuits. So, I do not think it is legitimate to claim he was not heard. They heard his lies and propaganda only too well.

It was an illegal and unconstitutional path that Trump took, when he decided to undermine confidence in the election system and that he would raise a mob to intimidate Congress under the threat of violence in the hopes of overturning the election. I cannot support a person, who thinks he is above the law and the Constitution.

In my opinion, Trump is a narcissistic liar, a cheat and a propagandist. It does not matter if the Democrats, Black Lives Matter or antifa have also done things that are wrong or even worse. A pox on both their houses. Unless you want to descend into anarchy, chaos and mob rule, you have to support the constitutional system, not the man.

Patriotism is about supporting the system that the Founders blessed us with a quarter of a millennium ago. It is not about absolute loyalty to one very imperfect and egotistical man of today and putting him above the law and the Constitution.

I don’t care about status among the Trump cult. It is better to be rejected by them and not be part of it as they follow Trump over the cliff like lemmings.

    • Admin says:

You have a problem with your logic. Not approving of Trump’s lawlessness does not imply that I support Biden.

      • JOE MACKE says:

what exact lawlessness are you referring to,, please be specific-jm

Just to start, inciting an insurrection is a crime and that is the charge in the articles of impeachment. He will be tried in the Senate for that week after next in the impeachment trial.

  3. Burton Beamer says:

Hey Rog, i love ya buddy, but the Democrats just flat cheated in those 6-7 States. The first egregious one was in Georgia (i think) when all those carts with those “so called” votes was
trotted out from under the table at 10:00pm, when all the rest of the voting team was ushered out
of the counting area and told to go home. That’s when the fraud was started. All The other fraud events were the legislatures that had not permitted the “RULES” to be changed to permit votes to be counted after certain time/dates. The rules were broken by the officials who headed up all the
counting of precinct’s which was not to be permitted under the States Legislatures rules.
Remember there were thousands of “VOTES” from dead people, those under 18 years of age,
those from temporary trailer parks, those from with addresses of the Gambling Casino’s in Nevada,
and from people who had actually moved out of States they were not supposed to vote in…

Additionally, what about those people (Maybe hundreds) guided under Rudy Guliante (sp) who
testified under threat of going to prison, those affidavit’s certificating that a whole lot of frauds were
taking place in a whole lot of places. All this was flat refused to be heard in the courts and the press
and the 5-6 states legislatures, it is very sad indeed and 75 thousand voters had their votes dumped in the sewer and are P…sed.

And for Pelosi, who voted her to be dictator and ruler over 350 million people??
    Regards

Burt, you can’t know what happened from watching Facebook videos. However, I repeat, according to reports about 50 judges rejected their lawsuits and the newly Trump-dominated Supreme Court also rejected his lawsuits. The results of the states in question were confirmed by Republican legislatures. What more do you want?

Trump was heard and he was rejected. He wasn’t rejected by Democrats, but largely Republicans. He and his followers need to shutup and move on. It was pretty obvious that Trump was lying and trying to manipulate the system in his phone call with the Georgia State Attorney, for example. Nothing justifies his arranging for a violent mob attack on Congress. He should be convicted and banned from holding future office for that.

He has a criminal mentality. If he doesn’t get what he wants, he is going to threaten you with violence, just like I am getting from one of his followers right now due to this post. I also received a stupid (Qanon-like) suggestion that I am a “pedophile”. Everyone who opposes Trump is a pedophile. Is that what we really want in a President, along with his cult of followers. I don’t think so. Cut him loose.

There are Trump followers threatening mass murder of their opposition on the Internet. Even Dr. Corsi made a video saying that Trump would set up military tribunals. Trump apparently changed the regulations to allow firing squads, presumably as a psychological manipulation to scare people. Trump and his brainwashed followers have become the mirror image of Black Lives Matter and antifa and even worse in some ways. I will oppose that kind of gutter trash, whether they are on the Left of the Right. Doesn’t matter to me. They are two sides of the same coin.

  4. JOE MACKE says:

ROGER,, getting way ahead of yourself, BUD , you owe nothing to me, but god, country & family,, but pay your damn (taxes) what proof do have that TRUMP is just is corruptable ( please no theory
had enough of that BS,, TRUMP did what he said he would do,, you and other nay sayers have a problem with that,,, you mention his (narrsisim ) what proof do you have of that, BUD,, and if you do not like being called, BUD,, how do you think TRUMP felt for 4+ yrs being called every thing but a shiny rock, BUD,, YOUR POST ARE GETTING A LITTLE OFF MESSAGE, BUD
every PRES, deserves a 2nd term committing no real fellonies by the way did you mention when
you had so many negative things to say about TRUMP,,, HE GAVE HIS FULL SALARY TO ARLINGTON CEMETARY,, I said enough,, but so have you( much to much ) stick to your knitting which is (only) what you really know— THE DAMN FENCE PS do not care weather you worked
for the DOD,, DOJ ,, DO ETC, ETC ANYTHING ,,, THEY ARE ALL CORRUPT TODAY,, prove that wrong ,,, that is the world we are living in BUD???? sin JM

  5. JOE MACKE says:

PS,, QUIT CALLING TRUMP VOTERS A (CULT) what do you know about cults,, at 77 yrs, old , find it despicable you mention the word cult to me and 75 mil other american voters,, did I miss anything so far,, you have lost so much credability ,I might as well watch cnn,, all we know for sure
about “TRUMP” is he is rich, and built things,,, thank goodness jm HE WAS NOT BOUGHT OFF

  6. Rodger, if you don’t support Trump you are supporting Pelosi, Schumer, and the rest. As Trump often said, no President should have to go through what he’s gone through the last four years. Did the left and their media supporters think they could do what they have done the past 4 years and not create a radical opposing group on the right? Whether Trump made a mistake on January 6th is debatable. If he did, that doesn’t mean we should walk away from him. He’s done more for this nation in the last 4 years then his two predecessors did in the previous 16. I expect that history will look favorably on his term.

    • Admin says:

No, that is nonsense. I’m an independent voter who is registered as a Republican and usually votes Republican. Independents decide elections, not party stalwarts, and not Trump cult members, either. Independents are not going to follow your invalid logic and vote for an asshole, because he’s Republican or because he’s your cult leader, like Trump. So you have to do better than that if you want to elect your candidate.

It was the ill-advised actions of Trump and his insane cult followers that caused us to lose the Presidency and the Senate. I could just as easily say that you are supporting Pelosi and the Democrats, because you support people and stupid events like the rally/attack on the Capitol that causes pro-Americans to lose elections. I just don’t care anymore and am done with the Trump drones. I will never vote for Trump again, even if the Senate doesn’t convict.

I support a president when he does what I think is right. I don’t follow him blindly or want to be part of a Trump cult. Trump was responsible for bringing a whole lot of trouble on himself, because he can’t act like a civilized human being and his main goal was polarize people, create enemies and instill hatred of others. Historians will look upon him as a disgraced president. Hopefully, he will be convicted and banned from future office. If Trump is the only answer, it was a very stupid question.
