FBI Charges Black-Lives-Matter Radical Stephen McLeod With Felony

Stephen Glenn McLeod, aka Lord Mcleod, was one of the more highly visible people during the Black Lives Matter protests and riots in San Diego in the late summer. He has just been charged in federal court with a felony for aiming a laser at at a police helicopter.

UPDATE: 9/4/2021 Stephen Glenn McLeod was sentenced on 9/1/2021 for pointing a laser pointer at a police helicopter to 6 months in federal prison and two years supervised release. You can read the details of the judgment here. Read more about McLeod’s political exremism here.

The San Diego District Attorney said recently that the County has charged about two dozen persons with felonies. It is not known, how many federal police have charged. This is what really put a damper on the vandalism, mob action and riots by Black Lives Matter in San Diego, quiet, behind-the-scenes police work by San Diego and federal agencies. It would seem that a lot more is yet to come out.

San Diego is probably not unique. This kind of police action has likely been taking place around the country. The media just does not much cover it. Read the details of McLeod’s charges below in this media release from the US Attorney’s Office.

San Diego Man Charged

Tasha Williamson, an organizer for Black Lives Matter, said on October 13 that everyone is just waiting for the FBI’s Criminal Investigative Unit (CIU) to make their move. Maybe it has started, as she predicted. She points out that people will soon be offered immunity deals to testify against their fellow accused criminals. Two banks and another major building were burned to the ground in La Mesa during the Black Lives Matter riot on May 30th, where Williamson was the most prominent organizer and spokesperson.

McLeod admits in one of his videos that he takes medication for a psychological disorder, called schizoaffective disorder. If true, this may help explain his delusional, manic behavior, but would not necessarily absolve him of legal liability, unless he meets the legal definition of insanity at the time he allegedly committed the crime.

Below are a couple of videos featuring Stephen McLeod. Tasha Williamson is the black woman at the start of the first video.

In this video, Stephen McLeod more or less admits that Black Lives Matter burned down two banks and another major building in downtown La Mesa and says it was retribution for slavery. McLeod is he one in the preview image with the black cap, shaved head and red beard.

Stephen McLeod – BLM Bank Burnings Were Retribution For Slavery

McLeod was a “volunteer” for Black Lives Matter and was a regular participant at the protests and in the mob violence and riots. He drove an illegal green van that has no registration, no insurance and he has the VIN covered up, as if it may be stolen. He often followed the marches in his illegal green van and carried supplies for the march.

Therefore, he was an insider and it sounds as if he may have some knowledge about the devastating arson attack on La Mesa, judging from what he says about the motivation for the attack. Black Lives Matter rioters also set fire to part of City Hall that night, although the fire petered out. They also appeared to have had the intention of burning down the police station as had just happened in Minneapolis the night before the riot here in La Mesa, which occurred on the night of May 30th.

In this next video, McLeod participates in an attack on a neighbor at a protest at the San Diego Police Chief’s residence on August 28th. This was the same night that he is accused of aiming a laser at a police helicopter. Notice the green laser being pointed in the eyes of the beating victim at about 10:00. That was probably McLeod pointing the laser. This is actually McLeod’s video of the event that I am re-using.

McLeod is part of a this group of Black-Lives-Matter anarchists, brawling with police outside the San Diego Police Department headquarters in Downtown San Diego. This event took place on August 24, 2020 at a sympathy for Kenosha protest. The man in blue is Stephen McLeod.

McLeod was living in his van for about a year and a half. He got a job in July, 2020, as a caregiver for an elderly surgeon, who lives downtown. This may have been arranged for him as indirect reward for his participation in the the Black Lives Matter protests. He was allowed the use of a luxury, furnished condominium unit, which rents for more than $2,000 per month. The doctor that he cares for lives in another unit. He also apparently receives a monthly disability check from the government, probably due to his psychological disorder.
