Antifa Radical Arrested For Assault On Trumpers in Pacific Beach

Self-described “queer activist” and Berkeley drop-out, Jonah Bigel was arrested at a weekly provocative political event at the boardwalk in Pacific Beach on a felony assault charge, felony vandalism and a misdemeanor possession of narcotics / controlled substance.

The event is organized via a Facebook group called “Republicans of Pacific Beach”. After the attack on Congress on 1/6, they drew a very hostile crowd to their events, where Trump flags are displayed, merchandise is sold and a “Recall Gavin” petition can be signed.

This document below from from the court file describes the charges against Bigel. Bigel is charged with seven felonies and one misdemeanor. He is alleged to have tried to burn down a police storefront, carried an unregistered firearm and of assaulting protesters with a baseball bat, among other offenses. To make it even worse, he did all of this while he was on probation for an earlier conviction.

Bitchute – Riot Against Trump Supporters in Pacific Beach, Ca

Fellow conservatives requested that they not link the Recall Gavin Newsom effort to pro-Trump activism, because the recall effort should-be and is bi-partisan. Having it as part of a pro-Trump event plays into the narrative promoted by Newsom supporters that the petition is backed by Trumpist, right-wing radicals. This most probably harms the recall effort more than it helps.

There are Democrats and Independents, as well as Republicans, who have problems with Newson’s severe and irrational lockdowns, destruction of small businesses/jobs and his authoritarian methods of governing. Recall Newsom signature gathering shouldn’t be a partisan event.

Bigel’s activist partner started a fund-raising and telephone campaign to try to get Bigel released from jail and charges dropped.

Bigel is not being charged with peaceful protesting, but with using violence against peaceful protesters to deny them their free speech. His bail was set so high, because he was already on probation, yet that appears not to have deterred him from committing other very serious violent crimes.

VIDEO: Gavin Newsom on Trial: We Only Did What Was Appropriate

A lawsuit was brought against California Governor Gavin Newson for governing by fiat. A reporter asked him at this press conference, whether he had been governing by fiat and whether he would moderate his behavior in the future. News replied, “We only did what was appropriate.”

Kevin Kiley, one of the two Assemblymen bringing the lawsuit, reported that Newsom’s attorney said that the prinicpals of the American system, “only work well in theory”.

At the trial, Gov. Newsom’s attorney said these principles – separation of powers, republican government, and the rule of law – only work well “in theory.” I’d say over two centuries of American history show they work pretty well in practice too. – Assemblyman Kevin Kiley

On April 23, 2019, as Covid was just starting to spread in California, Governor Newsom said in response to a question by a reporter from Bloomberg that he saw the Covid-19 pandemic as an opportunity to make political change, to bring about a new progressive era.

In his early press conferences, Newsom also mentioned frequently the need for “prescriptive solutions”. Below are some synonyms for “prescriptive”.

Did Gov. Newsom Know Pandemic Was Coming?

California Governor Newsom enacted the bill entitled “AB-262 Local health officers: communicable diseases” on October 12, 2019, only a few weeks before Covid-19 cases appeared in China. This bill gives the governor the ability to require county health officers to issue orders to local agencies, bypassing local officials. This appears to legalize the Newsom dictatorship. Registered California voters can sign the recall petition at RecallGavin202.com.

Below is a excerpt from the bill stating that the bill would create a state-mandated local program than imposes requirements on local health officials. My understanding is that this bill allows the Governor to dictate health orders via local health officers with no possibility of local officials overruling the requirements. In turn the health officers are required to give orders to local agencies, such as law enforcement.

The bill would authorize the local health officer to issue orders to other governmental entities within the local health officer’s jurisdiction to take any action the local health officer deems necessary to control the spread of the communicable disease. By imposing new requirements on local health officers, this bill would create a state-mandated local program.

You can read the text of the bill below.
