This video by an unknown expert explains why law enforcement officers shoot suspects who are unarmed, such in the Jacob Blake case, which triggered devastating “Black Lives Matter” riots in Kenosha Wisconsin. The most black lives, or lives of any race, would be saved during arrests, if the citizen would just respect police officers and cooperate when the law requires cooperation, at least.
It’s all about reaction time. The criminal has no reaction time if he initiates the attack. The policeman is at a disadvantage, because it takes him/her a couple more tenths of a second to react once he sees the weapon about to be used against him.

This video shows a case where a person being arrested escaped and reached into this vehicle and pulled out a gun. He seriously wounded and almost killed one officer.
