Protester With “Hitler Obama” Signs “Hip-checked” at Eastgate Plaza

Protester With “Hitler Obama” Signs “Hip-checked” at Eastgate Plaza

The following information was supplied by the Chelmsford Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Oct. 23, 3:11 p.m. – Two individuals called police after being upset with protesters at Eastgate Plaza gathering signatures to impeach President Obama, particularly seeming upset with a picture of the president with a Hitler mustache.

An officer found the protesters and determined they were peacefully exercising their first amendment rights while also staying on the sidewalk, avoiding going onto private property. The officer also determined that the protesters were not impeding foot traffic or vehicular traffic.

Then a protester then said that the individuals started grabbing their signs and “hip-checked” him, with another protester saying she was pushed.

The officer informed the individuals they could not physically touch the protesters or their signs.

No charges were filed.

How To Deal With The Police at Impeach Obama Overpass Protests

How To Deal With The Police at Impeach Obama Overpass Protests

This page documents the worst experience we have had with the police/highway patrol and how better to interact with them. The page will be updated as we learn more. Most police and CHP have treated protesters on overpasses fine, but a few want to harass and bully the protesters, probably due to political pressure put on their superiors.

Obama to be in Dallas on Wednesday – Protest Time!

Obama to be in Dallas on Wednesday – Protest Time!

Obama will be at Temple Emanu-El on Wednesday, Address:

Temple Emanu-El
8500 Hillcrest Ave,
Dallas, TX 75225
Phone: (214) 706-0000

The Temple is at the corner of Hillcrest and West Northwest Highway (12) in University Park. He will also attend two fundraisers, not sure where or when.

CBS reports he will be at the temple in the late afternoon, but usually it is difficult to predict exactly when he will arrive.   Allow for 1-2 hours error in either direction. Personally, I would come at lunch time and wait for the Usurper to arrive, near were the media sets up.

President Obama To Thank Affordable Care Act Volunteers During Dallas Visit

In spite of what you may hear from people, who have never done it, you can generally get up close at these events. We have done them before, where his car passed within a few feet of the protesters. There will be a lot of media there covering the story. You can go right up front with the media and be ready to give them a sound bite for the news, just 1-2 short sentences about why he should be removed from office.

There appears to be ample parking at small shopping malls nearby and on side streets.

A large crowd of protesters is needed. Phoenix had hundreds when he last visited. Surely, Dallas can do at least as well. This is a rare opportunity. Don’t miss it!

This was the protest in Phoenix.

Wisconsin Town Bans Anti-Obama Protest

Wisconsin Town Bans Anti-Obama Protest

A Wisconsin town has banned the display of signs on a pedestrian overpass calling for President Obama’s impeachment, saying the signs could distract motorists, but Tea Party activists say the ban is an infringement on free speech.

The protests, which occurred above an interstate highway in the town of Campbell, Wisconsin, are part of the nationwide “Overpasses for Impeachment” movement that has staged hundreds of rallies across the nation since June. The town’s action suggests a possible route for Democrats to combat the movement. Calls for Obama’s impeachment, even among elected representatives, have grown since the summer.
