911 Call to Break-up Impeach Obama Overpass Protest

911 Call during the La Crosse Impeach Obama Patriot Wave 9/11/2013. An Obama follower calls 911 to have the police to break up a freedom of speech protest for Obama’s impeachment in La Crosse/Campbell, Wisconsin.

‘Truckers Ride for the Constitution’ to take to Beltway in protest

Truckers-DC

Truck drivers are expected to descend on the Beltway on Friday for a political rally protesting causes ranging from the government shutdown to low wages for drivers — but claims the group planned to intentionally clog the roadways and shut down the region appear to have been overstated.

Kicking off with a rally and drive around the Beltway on Friday morning, the group is encouraging a wider general strike that would last through the weekend. Organizers encouraged truckers not to haul freight and asked supporters not to purchase any products or services that aren’t completely essential.

Campbell Outlaws Free Speech for Impeach-Obama Overpass Protests

Pompous, self-important cadres of the Campbell (Wisconsin) Town Board pass ordinances repealing the 1st Amendment of the Bill of Rights for Impeach-Obama Overpass Protests. These public protectors prioritize the absolute safety of the community higher than freedom of speech. Collective public safety is one of the best excuses to deny citizens their individual rights. In spite of their several preemptive denials, one suspects that politics is indeed an overriding factor here.

They seem to enjoy the attention on the Internet and taking your calls. Let them know your opinion, civilly please. You can obtain contact information for the board members at this link.

Fleet of Angry Truckers Heading to Washington

Whether the protest works or not, Zeeda Andrews has already been allowed to talk about removing Obama from office on a national network (Fox News) and that is a lot, in itself. She also mentioned overpass protests. That should raise people’s awareness that there is a budding impeach-Obama movement.  If the whole nation were aware of it, the number of participants would go up by several orders of magnitude. Instead of a few thousand protesters, as we have now. There would be hundreds of thousands, if not millions of protestors. So, don’t give up, yet, folks. There may be much more to come.

The plan to create a traffic jam may work, even if relatively few trucks show up.

Standing up for the Right to Hang Protest Signs

Protesters, apparently in Ohio, stand up for the right to hang temporary and attended freedom-of-speech protest signs on overpass fences, which are removed after the protest. Putting signs on the fence can greatly enhance the effectiveness of a protest. The police in various states frequently try to bully protesters into not hanging signs. This sometimes seems to be instigated by complaints from Department of Transportation workers, who are often unionized by the red-infiltrated, progressive union, Service Employees International Union (SEIU), one of Obama biggest contributors and source of campaign workers.

There are laws against hanging signs for advertisement and directional signs on the Overpass fences, but not specifically for temporary freedom-of-speech protest signs. Petty state and local laws cannot overrule the Bill of Rights. Police never seem to write a ticket anywhere in the country for hanging a protest sign on the overpass fence, which is evidence they they do not believe it will hold up in court. They usually try to trump up another more easily defended charge, such as creating a hazardous condition and failure to disperse, which depends only on their own judgement.

The primary role of the police is not to protect your constitutional rights, but to maintain public order within the law, as they see it. They are sometimes influenced also by those with a political agenda (such as the SEIU). They tend to err on the side of public order and see these protests as having the potential to become disorderly. So they also naturally have the inclination to try to inhibit them. Protesters should question the police and push back a little, as these are doing, and not just accept everything the police tell them as the gospel truth.
