Marco Amaral – Communist For CA State Superintendent of Public Instruction

Marco Amaral is a teacher, a communist and “Raza” (Hispanic racial/ethnic) nationalist. In 2022, he is campaigning in the primary to be the Superintendent of Public Instruction. So, every voter should know what his real political ideology is about. Amaral is almost completely open about being a radical who believes in a violent revolution.

Update: The San Diego Union-Tribune actually endorsed Marco. They want such a radical, anti-American to be making policy for California schools. Click here for more info.

Amaral believes that he should teach radical Marxist and La Raza racial identity ideology in the schools and he has been doing it for quite a few years already. This post is not intended to incite any physical violence against Amaral, as he has claimed in the past, but to better inform the public about his fanatical political ideology, especially to inform the parents of the children he is intends to radicalize.

First, this video below was a campaign ad when he ran for the Board of Trustees in 2018. He subsequently won a seat on the South Bay Union School District in San Diego County. The photo of him at a protest in the beret and paramilitary uniform has been added to the video.

Serious About Systemic Change Interview – 2021

This following quote came from an interview posted on the revolutionary Marxist/anarchist website, puntorojomag.org –

Serious about Systemic Change: an interview with Marco Amaral

As an educator, how have your political principles shaped your approach in the classroom? How have your experiences in the classroom shaped your political outlook?

I have identified as an Internationalist for several years now. Internationalism pushes me to engage the scholarly and social work of people from around the world, specifically – people that are struggling against the forces of oppression and bigotry. Therefore, after years of engaging as an activist educator influenced by the work of people ranging from Frantz Fanon and Antonia Darder to Paulo Freire and the resistance work of Indigenous communities, I decided that my classroom couldn’t be confined to the limited understandings of the “American Educational Model.”

Amaral says he was most influenced by Frantz Fanon, among two others. Fanon was a revolutionary Marxist and radical anti-colonialist, who advocated violent overthrow of the system, even via a “murderous campaign”, as he says. I don’t know about the other two that he mentions as influences, but I would guess they have similar radical ideologies.

Below is a quote from page 2 of “The Wretched of the Earth” by Frantz Fanon. This is Fanon’s most well-known book. You don’t have to read very far to find Fanon preaching violent, bloody revolution. A central theme of the book is that extreme violence is necessary in order to overthrow the existing, so-called “colonial systems” around the world. Is this what Californians would like their children to be taught?

From page 2 of “The Wretched of the Earth” by Frantz Fanon.

Nicaraguan Molotov Man -2018

At one time Amaral had this famous photo of a Nicaraguan revolutionary, called the “Molotov Man”, uploaded to his Facebook page, but he took it down when he ran for the school board. It tells you that he identifies with communist bomb throwers.

Teaching Kids To Hate Police – 2018

Amaral identifies as a Marxist revolutionary and Chicano ethnic/racial militant. Here he is seen marching with a banner in Spanish that reads, “Students for the Liberation of Aztlan”. “Aztlan” refers to the Southwestern US, which militant Chicanos claim as the national homeland of La Raza (The Race), that is the Hispanic mestizo race.

Amaral believes in radicalizing students. The melee in the video below started when a student assaulted a police sergeant. The school where he teaches is about a mile away. Why would he be so much involved and he just happens to be on the spot taking video? It just seems that maybe Amaral inspired this conflict or even directly instigated it.

Federal Civil Rights Lawsuit Against San Diego City – 2016

Amaral filed a federal civil rights lawsuit for police brutality against San Diego City, due to his arrest at an anti-Trump protest on November 9, 2016. A large crowd protested Trump election in 2016 in Downtown San Diego. When they started setting fires, the police declared it an unlawful assembly. Amaral failed to disperse and was arrested. He claimed that he was injured during the in the arrest. The Case number and title is 3:17-cv-02409-L-LL, Amaral v. City of San Diego et al.

Trump protester files lawsuit saying police violated his civil rights at San Diego rally

After about 3.5 years of litigation, the judge dismissed the case. According to court documents, Amaral spent over $10K in attorney fees and other court costs, which may be just a rough number.

From ISO Wikipedia page
Trotskyites March on Border Wall Rally – 2017

On December 9, 2017, Comrade Amaral marched at the head of a group of about 15 others on a rally for the border wall. Their intention appeared to be to disrupt the rally, which would be attended by Congressman Duncan Hunter.

They marched behind two banners for the International Socialist Organization, which according to the ISO Wikipedia page is an openly communist (Trotskyite). organization. Leon Trotsky, along with Lenin was, of course, one of main leaders of the Russian communist revolution in 1917.

This is Marco Amaral, berating and harassing the sheriff’s deputies. The banner behind him reads, “Ban the Wall”, “Sanctuary for All” and “International Socialist Organization”.

An image of the other ISO Banner follows, which displays the revolutionary clinched fist and the reads “International Socialist Organization”, “Unite and Fight”. The communists were urging the group to fight, then they blamed others for starting the fight and claimed to be the victims.

Ironically, after another communist teacher, Justin Akers Chacon of City College, sucker-punched a 17-year-old boy, a brawl did break out, Amaral and the other Trotskyites complained bitterly and blamed the Sheriff’s deputies for not protecting them. This was even though they are vehemently anti-police, their own banner called for a fight and one of the communists threw the first punch, striking an adolescent in the face.

One of Amaral’s associates, involved in this brawl, admitted at another event that he is a “communist”. He is the one wearing the red cap and white scarf at about 2:20 in the video below and goes by “Rafael Bautista”. Ironically, in real life he appears to be a real estate agent, a mortgage broker and a manager of a small landscaping business. He’s a capitalist in real life, but he appears to have a fantasy of being a communist revolutionary, which he plays as a role in his spare time. Well, a person has to eat, I guess, and it is difficult to make a living spouting communist rhetoric and preaching revolution.

Rafael Bautista, self-declared communist, one of Marco Amaral’s comrades.

There is a good-sized cadre of those in San Diego County. who identify as communist, anti-American revolutionaries. Amaral and Rafael Bautista are just two of this group of such radicals. They are part of this revolutionary scene.

Occupy Cal (Berkeley)- 2011

Amaral has long been a leftist radical, at least since his student days. He was a political science major at University of California, Berkeley and an organizer of the Occupy Cal movement in 2011 and was an organizer of this event in the video below when 40 protesters were arrested by UC Berkeley police. This protest occurred on November 10, 2011. Comrade Amaral does not seem to be in this video, but he was an organizer and spokesman for the group.

See the links for more information. Amaral is cited as a spokesman in the articles linked below.

Nazi 5th Column in Mexico from Life Magazine (1940)

This is an article in Life Magazine from 1940 about the Nazi and communist influence in Mexico and their collaborators. One of the most important Nazi collaborators was Jose Vasconcelos, an important Mexican, educator, writer, philosopher and cultural figure. Vasconcelos was the father of the “La Raza” racial theory, which became a basic concept for the Chicano political movement in the United States. The original article is:

Write Denver City Council – Name Change, Columbus Park To La Raza Park

Model of Aztec human sacrificial temple in Denver
The Denver City Council is considering Changing the name of “Columbus Park” to La Raza Park. “La Raza” is Spanish for “The Race”. It is a ethnic and racial concept developed by the most important pro-Nazi propagandist in Latin America in World War II. “La Raza” is one of the basic principles of the ideology of the militant Chicano political movement, which the name change is intended to honor.

Please write the Denver City Council Members and request that they not change the name, or if they must change the name, request that they use a name that is, at least, not obviously racist and is more inclusive than this Hispanic, mestizo, racial concept, which was invented by a Mexican Nazi. Their addresses are below.

In recent years, National Hispanic organizations have been backing away from using the term, “La Raza”, as well as other terms associated with the radical, political Chicano movement. The “National Council of La Raza” changed their name three years ago in July of 2017, dropping “La Raza” from their name. Now the organization is called “UnidosUS”.

They did not say so directly, but it seems this was due to the racialist name becoming an embarrassment for them and for the organization to be more inclusive. In this his article, they do write that the name change came after accusations started years ago about “La Raza” meaning “The Race” and accusations that the National Council of La Raza had a brown racist agenda.

National Council of “La Raza” changes its name to UnidosUS

Anyone with enough intelligence to be able to use a Spanish/English dictionary can learn that the word actually does mean “The Race”. In recent years, we have learned more about Vasconcelos’ bizarre racial theory, which explains why they call themselves La Raza / The Race.

The national Chicano student organization, MEChA (Movimiento Estudiantil Chicano de Aztlan) has also changed its name dropping the words “Chicano” and “Aztlan” to be more inclusive, they said.

Turmoil over MEChA name change was decades in coming

Fans of the La Raza concept try to obfuscate the meaning, claiming it means “The People”, but it really does mean “The Race”, just as it sounds to English speakers. Spanish has two words that mean “The People”, that is “La Gente” and “El Pueblo” (as in people of a nation). If the term was really intended to mean “The People”, they would have used one of these two terms normally used for that purpose.

The origins of this term may not be understood by many, even among Hispanics, however, the “La Raza” concept – on which the Chicano political ideology is to a large extent based — is a Hispanic mestizo racial supremacy theory formulated by a very prominent Mexican politician, educator and philosopher, Jose Vasconcelos. Vasconcelos explained his concept in a book entitled, “La Raza Cosmica”, which is available via Amazon and other book retailers under the correctly-translated name of “The Cosmic Race“. He believed that the Hispanic, mixed race would evolve into the ultimate race. Vasconcelos was also an extreme anti-Semite, extremely anti-American and the most important paid, Nazi propagandist in Latin America at the start of WWII.

Nazi Father of “La Raza”, Jose Vasconcelos

That Forgotten Mexican Nazi Named Jose Vasconcelos

This is an article that Jose Vasconcelos, the Father of La Raza, wrote justifying the notorious anti-Semitic tract used by the Nazis to demonize Jews, “The Protocols of the Elders of Zion”.

In Self-Defense: The Protocols of the Elders of Zion by Jose Vasconcelos

Already featured in the park is a model of an Aztec temple, designed to be suggestive of the Templo Mayor, the most important site for mass human sacrifice in the Aztec empire. Uncounted thousands of victims were sacrificed there, having their hearts cut out of their chests while still living. Their still-beating heart was offered the sun god, Huitzilopochtli, as the victim looked on, writhing in extreme agony and died. Parts of the victims were often eaten by the priests in ritualistic cannibalism.

If the goal is to celebrate Mexican heritage, a blood-soaked, Aztec, human-sacrificial temple is not generally featured in town squares in Mexico. Generally, the status symbol for a Mexican town is to have a more innocuous, French gazebo in the town square, not a memorial to Aztec human sacrifice.

Typical Mexican town square features a church, French gazebo and government buildings,

To avoid making a mockery out of the wonderful city of Denver, request that they not change the name of the Park to “La Raza Park”.

There is nothing wrong with “Columbus Park”. The charges utopian fanatics are making against Columbus are extreme and propagandistic. However, if the name must be changed, they should make it something less polarizing and more inclusive, than “La Raza Park”, in order to not disgrace the City of Denver.

Cops With Gifts For Kids Harassed, Abused At Chicano Park

Cops With Gifts For Kids Harassed and Abused At Chicano Park

Chicano Park is promoting the political ideology of the radical Chicano Movement of the 1960’s. Hatred of cops is not a recent development or something that was started by grievances with the local San Diego police. It’s a major feature of their ideology which is a mixture of Chicano racial nationalism and communism.

The two people verbally attacking the two police officers are probably Brown Berets, a kind of paramilitary group that serves as an enforcer for the militants who run the park. Chicano Park is a city park of San Diego, which the militants occupied in 1970 as the first part of Aztlan, the American Southwest, which they claim as their national homeland.

One of the four Founders of the Chicano movement , Rodolfo “Corky” Gonzales, mandated the killing of cops as a revolutionary act, not a crime. Chongo has various meanings, some say it is slang for “monkey”. It is used in the video as a slur for “police”.

Chicano Movement Co-Founder: “Take Pride in Killing Cops”

The followers of Reies Tijerina, another Founder, actually shot two law enforcement officers in a raid on a courthouse in Tierra Amarilla, New Mexico. The purpose of the raid was to kidnap a district attorney, who was threatening to charge Tijerina. One of the officers was killed just before Tijerina was to be tried in court, presumably by Tijerina’s followers, so that he would not testify in the trial.

Corky Gonzales and Reies Tijerina are honored in the historical mural at Chicano Park, along with communist dictators, Fidel Castro and Che Guevara. Corky Gonzales visited Chicano Park for the annual Park Day celebration. Some of his cremation ashes are (illegally) spread around the Zapata statue in the park.

The group of Chicano militants who occupy Chicano Park resembles a cult. The police should realize, if the don’t already, that the two militants yelling a them have been indoctrinated into an ideology and will not respond to reason or kindness. They would have to be deprogrammed. Militant Chicanos teach the kids at an early age to hate law enforcement.

This criticism does not apply to all Hispanics, Latinos or Mexican Americans, in general, or even to all who Identify as “Chicanos”. It’s about a small group of Chicano extremists, who control this park.

Communist Rhetoric at Columbus Statue Removal Meeting

These are the public comments of the communists, Raza Ultra Nationalists, anarchists and other, various types of far-leftists at the Human Relations Commission meeting in Chula Vista on January 23, 2020, where removal of the Columbus statue was discussed. To see related posts, go to this link.

There was no one in opposition to them at this meeting. There was no opposition probably in large part, because some of these people are thugs, who will slander and threaten anyone, who opposes them. The object of such propaganda is to create polarization and to undermine the confidence of people in the traditional beliefs of the current society, in order ultimately to create a social revolution or a “fundamental transformation”, as Obama called it.

The commission in a second meeting approved a resolution to be submitted to the City Council for a vote to destroy the Columbus statue in Discovery Park. The recording is over an hour long, but useful to hear as an example of how they employ anti-western propaganda and how dominate they are at such meetings in Chula Vista.

The statue has been vandalized multiple times. Destroying the statue will reward this criminal behavior and encourage more.
