Gnostic occult belief teaches that man is God and that a man can self-evolve into god-hood or into a Christ figure, for example. Gnosticism is at least several hundred years older than Christianity and has infiltrated Christianity. Or, adherents to the different versions of Gnosticism would say they the are the original “Christianity.” Gnostic belief was rejected by the early church leaders. Gnosticism can assume many different forms, but it can present itself as Christian belief. Due to this, there has been a schism in Christian belief for two millennia. This is also the reason that Obama can believe himself to be a Christian and still hold beliefs that would be anathema to traditional Christians.
It is a revolutionary belief system and promotes revolution of the oppressed against the oppressors. There is no belief in a father-like figure in Heaven, but there may be a spiritual belief in a kind of god-head. That is, that god is everywhere and in everything. Gnostics believe in a utopian kingdom created right here on earth by a god-man or god-men (plural). In traditional Christian belief this would be the work of the Antichrist.
Obama’s Trinity Church of Christ in Chicago has a Gnostic doctrine, based on Black Liberation Theology. There is a broad range of related, black cult movements in the black community, which have similar gnostic doctrines. Farrakhan’s Nation of Islam is one of these black cult movements. Black Liberation Theology was derived largely from the apocalyptic, racist cult doctrine of the Black Muslims.
Cult religions are especially attractive to those who suffer from Narcissistic Personality Disorder, aka megalomaniacs. Sam Vaknin, an international expert on the subject, has stated that he believes Obama is a pathological Narcissist with some psychopathic characteristics.
